10. Saw series. So even though these aren't really on the scary side, they are full of blood and gore which is just awesome for any horror movie fan. Plus they keep you hooked the whole time and by the end of the movies you're left wanting more.
9. The Shining. With all of it's little twists and turns you never know what to expect next, and the movie is full of suspense. Plus the acting is just amazing.
8. Silence of the Lambs. How can you not love this movie? It's just one of the best - acting and suspense, everything.
7. Pathology. This movie is pretty good. Pathologists that play this game of killing a person and the others must figure out how they were killed. I just like the film overall - pretty good acting and good ending.
6. Amusement. This is just pretty good. It's about a guy who kills people for his own amuesment, with the sickest form of killing. It's pretty gory.
5. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is possibly the farthest thing from scary, in my opinion, but lots of gore and I got attached to characters and the plot. I guess the fact that it's based on a true story is where most people get there scare.
4. 100 Tears. All I have to say is blood, blood, blood. So much blood in this movie.
3. Amityville Horror series. Um... anything about haunted houses like this one that's based on a true story will make you want to not sleep...forever.
2. Paranormal Activity. Although a lot of people will say this movie stunk, I thought it was very well planned out. Things got worse and worse as it went on. It was very jumpy because things were just thrown out there that you wouldn't expect and it's something a lot of people can relate to because it is set in the couple's home and very realistic. The only disappointment in this film for me was the lack of blood and gore. But it was a very good movie in my opinion.
1. The Exorcism of Emily Rose. This movie is based on a true story, which opens up a world around our fear of demonic possession. The special effects were amazing and the acting so well done. I think that everyone should watch this movie.
