The Best and The Not So Good Horror Movies + Some that will just make you laugh!

Some Of The Best (In My Opinion) Horror Movies...

* A Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday 13th & Halloween - These films just have to have a mention I’ve watched them so many times but they are still great and there was no need to do remakes. But they should have stopped after only a few sequels, and Halloween 3 shouldn't have been made part of the series at all.

*Black Xmas - I love the original and the remake they both have a good storyline and excellent deaths.

*Blair Witch Project - I don't normally like this sort of film but wow it was scary.

*Cabin Fever - Ok, not the greatest film in most peoples opinion, but its still just a simple film with a disease, and that’s the sort I like.

*Creep - Great movie and I was creeped when I next went on the underground.

*Dawn Of The Dead - I love zombie movies and this one stands out purely for the music, Johnny Cash (one of my favorite singers) and Richard Cheese - Get Down With The Sickness, that’s just funny.

*I Know What You Did Last Summer + I Still Know What You Did Last Summer - I find these films really scary no matter how many times I watch them, there’s just something creepy about them.

*The Hitcher - Not really scary but just great, I just love this and Sean bean plays the character well. I love the remake and want to watch the original now.

*The Omen - Just because he's a creepy little boy

Some Of The Not So Good...

*13 Ghosts - I rarely like horror films with ghosts, vampires or witches, I’m more of a slasher fan but this one was really awful.

*Doomed - Just ridiculous.

*Hostel - I know the end is good but i just don't like the rest of it, i found it slow and boring at first and in the end just skipped towards the end to watch the better part of the movie.

*I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer- It's awful, it doesn’t at all follow on from the first two especially as the 'killer' isn't even human but a sort of ghost or something, I didn’t even quite understand it and I definitely don't understand why it was made.

And Some I Had To Laugh At...

*Scream - The sequels aren't particularly scary but the first is just hilarious. I can't help but laugh when the killers are just so stupid when trying to kill them all. Plus Dewey and Randy are so funny to and anything with Matthew Lilard makes me laugh. But I love the film, one of my favorites.

*Doomed - This film deserves a spot on both lists.

*Number 23 - Just silly, everything adds up to 23???? Jim Carrey should stick to comedy.

In my opinion, I'll Always Know What You Did...was made because someone wanted to cash in on the people who would buy it because it was similar in name to the original. Similar to what happened with Urban Legends: Bloody Mary and the Urban Legend movies.

I agree with most of your list. My only things are I really like 13 Ghosts's remake far more than I should have and I liked Hostel, though I definitely see how grating the opening is.
