The Best Scary Movies of All Time

Halloween (1978). The reason why I have put this on my list because its one of the best horror films I have seen in my life. To this day it gives me the creeps.

Scream (1996). This is the second best horror film because of how Wes Caven perfectly directs it. Here's a person who has taken his love for scary movies one too far.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). I love this movie partly because it was shot in the same setting as Halloween.

The first scary movie I ever saw was with my dad...The Haunting (1999). I must have been in the 3rd grade. It was a Saturday afternoon horror fest on one of our local stations.

As I look back on it, the thing that scared me the most was not what I could see, but what I couldn't see - the pulsing of the house, creaking doors, things that go bump in the night. There are a few movies that do that today...but not enough. Paranormal Activity (2007) was fantastic!
