I got real excited when the updated 100 Best Horror Films list came out so I decided to take on the challenge of watching every movie on the list. I started with the Mist and I was disappointed.

The movie really wasn't that great. Trapped in a grocery store while nothing is happening inside nor outside? Finally when something did happen it lacked the cringe or jump factor. The movie became predictable after the first 20 minutes or so. And deaths were really cheap like when the bug bit the woman in the store it bit her left side but yet the right side had the bite on it and swelled up... hmmm.

The only good part I can say was when Ollie finally shot Mrs. Carmody. I wanted to kill her the whole movie.

All in all I'd give The Mist a 4/10 due to the fact it's more of a monster movie rather than a slasher movie with a REAL killer.
