"The power of Christ compels You", and I was Compelled for Life!

Ever since I was a kid I was always into watching scary movies. My uncle always used to bring Frankestein, Dracula and Zombie movies and I was hooked. We would always get together and watch as many horror flicks we could.
As I grew older I started to feel these typical gore fares were not that scary anymore they were just sheer entertainment until one day back in the early 90's I was introduced to the Exorcist. Ever since then horror movies have never been the same.
I still dread that film decades later and still have a fascination of watching this film and making all my friends and family watch this movie.
Based on a true story with stellar performances by all the cast with a stunning soundtrack (tubular bells anyone) this film really takes a controversial inside look into the possession of young girl named Regan. We see the transformation of an innocent young girl to that of a such an evil form that no one could ever imagine.
To this day I still have not got the guts to watch this film alone and I don't think I will ever be able to. Thats the beauty of this film with it being over 30 years old it still shakes the souls of people to this day.
