The Zombies vs. The Superheroes

Zombie Master,
Marvel comics has already, wisely, addressed the zombie question in their series "Marvel Zombies." In short, even against the Marvel heroes, the zombies would eventually rule the Earth. (When the Hulk, Thor and Spiderman, etc. become zombies, basically all bets are off.)
But there are certain questions, regarding other heroes, that need answering. In brief:
1. Superman could not become infected--he's unbitable, his blood would be immune to the virus anyway, and he'd be way too strong to hold down. The same with Captain Marvel, unless the zombie virus somehow got into his blood stream via the mouth? Eyes? Would they be able to stop the plague, or just be the only non-zombies left, eventually?
2. Green Lantern's ring is powered by the wearer's mind. If the Lantern becomes a zombie, would the ring become useless? Or would the ring somehow facilitate his search for living flesh?
3. How long could the Flash stay un-zombied? Eventually they'd corner him, through sheer numbers?
4. Would Batman find the antidote?
5. Would Martian Manhunter's flesh be unappetizing to a zombie. Or does the virus mind what planet its host is from?

Dear...Whoever You Are,
The "Marvel Zombies" series is a great addition to the genre by Robert Kirkman, the creator and writer of "The Walking Dead" published by Image Comics. The artwork is also expertly done by Sean Phillips, probably best known for his work on the "Hellblazer" series.
I am not fond of "Anonymous" questions (just make up a name) but this one is fun. Also, I don't want to have the reputation of being wound too tight watching and waiting, with gun in hand and ammo belts fastened tight, for the inevitable zombie massacre, (what was that?). I have fun too.
So let's tackle these questions as they are asked:
NOTE: This is just hypothetical. Please do not write me nasty replies because I have some how dissed your favorite comic book character or something.
1. I do not think Captain Marvel would have a problem. I do however think that unless they could grab as many uninfected (key word) superheroes to, say, the Justice Leagues orbiting headquarters or someplace similar, they would only be able stand back and watch the mayhem unfurl and then begin taking them out one by one after the virus had taken hold of all remaining life.
2. If the Green Lantern were to become a zombie, I do not believe there would be enough brain power to have the ring facilitate anything.
3. I believe Flash could remain clean for as long as he could run. There are many places on Earth with no human habitation at all. As long as he stayed alert, I think might could be a survivor.
4. No. There is no, and never will be, an antidote. Now before I get slammed by the "Resident Evil" fans out there, the T-Virus antidote is useless after the infected has died. It only works while they are still alive. Therefore, the only antidote is a swift round to the head.
5. That would be an interesting experiment to perform but with the ability to take Captain Marvel to a draw, the world may never know.
Wow, that was fun. Now I must return to my outpost on top of the roof and make sure nothing has changed.
As always
Good hunting and aim high,
The Zombie Master
