THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT...

Hello horror fans!! I've loved horror films since I was very young when I first saw Nightmare On Elm Street, Shocker, Witchboard etc. The movies we're one thing but one night me and my sister had a horrifying experience that will live with me forever...

I was about 5 and my sister was seven. We shared a room at the time and were in bed. We were talking when out of nowhere there was a huge smash on the bedroom door! I lept out of bed and jumped in my sisters bed only for the smash to happen again... We were both looking at the door frozen with fear when something began scratching up and down the door accompanied with a hoarse, growling noise, to this day I've never heard anything like it again and never pray I never will.

The door carried on shuddering and banging so violently we thought it would fly right of its hinges!! Eventually it stopped but me and my sister were so petrified, we didn't move till morning. The next day we told our parents this and asked if they heard anything... they didn't hear a thing. I sometimes bring it up to them but they still insist they heard nothing. That was 22 yrs ago.

Obviously that experience didn't put me off, it just made me more curious!

Well, that's just one of the many experiences in the home I still live in....
