Three Creepy Women in Painting Come Alive in Spanish Horror
by John
(California, USA)
I'm trying to remember a Spanish horror movie I saw a few years ago about a family that moves to the country - a mother, father, daughter, and son. It starts out slow, but I vividly remember the boy's colored pencils repeatedly rolling under his bed.
There's a creepy painting in the house of three women with sunken, black eyes. One by one they disappear from the painting and by the end they have come alive.
In the end, the girl calls her boyfriend to pick her and her brother up and take them away from the house. They drive away in an older blue Volkswagen, and the boyfriend turns around and he's one of the creepy women.
There is also something about a satanic ritual and a giant snake carving under the floor of the house and murder of seven children in the house in the 70's. I think it also turns out the father lived in the house but forgot about it, and was one one of the children who was going to be murdered, but escaped.
Thanks!
