Thunderdome-Like Death Maze

There was an 80's sci-fi horror I'm trying to remember the name of where a man and woman are on a desert island on another planet with a giant jeep/ATC thing.
In one scene, the woman as to wade through knee-deep water to make sure the jeep can make it through, and she gets pulled under by...something.
In another scene, the woman is put in a Thunderdome-like death maze with swinging blades, giant hammers swinging back and forth, and a pit of razor wire if she should fall. She's the only person to make it through, but just barely.
Anyone remember this old sci-fi bomb?
