TIGGNUTZ'S 10 FAVORITE STEPHEN KING BASED FLICKS.

1. The Shining - great adaptation of King's book. Jack Nicholson takes a decent into madness that will live on for all times.
2. Carrie - this story is all about the pains of adolescence and the movie with its amazing cast really delivers. Sissy Spacek still creeps me out a little.
3. Children of the Corn - the soda shop scene is gripping. Murderous children and the rural setting make this a king based classic.
4. Salems Lot - more of a mini-series but still a very creepy interpretation of a Stephen King book.
5. Pet Semetary - I think the most scary little kid ever in a movie. Not sure how old that little actor was in that movie but damn was he evil.
6. Misery - Kathy Bates and James Caan play so well of each other, and Bates is seriously disturbing in her performance. the hobbling scene is horror gold.
7. Firestarter - not really scary but the cast is superb and who doesn't like fire.
8. IT - Tim Curry still keeps children up at night. If you hate spiders and clowns this one is for you.
9. Christine - I always liked this movie about an evil Plymouth Fury (its not a 57 Chevy). A very solid 80's horror flick.
10. Silver Bullet - based on a King short story, this is a very good werewolf movie. Priest by day bloodthirsty beast at night, good stuff.
With so many Stephen King inspired classic movies this could be my hardest list ever. Hope you dig it.
