1. The Howling - For my money there is no better werewolf movie around. Great special effects and it is actually kinda creepy.
2. An American Werewolf in London - Its kinda campy but the special effects and great mix of characters made this an instant classic. The first transformation scene is still incredible to watch.
3. Silver Bullet - A priest who is in fact a bloodthirsty werewolf is a great idea. A very good adaptation of a Stephen King story.
4. The Wolfman - Lon Chaney Jr. legendary role, I never understood why a wolfman would strangle somebody instead of biting there throat out but anyway, it was the cutting edge of special effects back then.
5. Dog Soldiers - Don't know why this movie isn't more known its got everything a great werewolf movie should.
6. An American Werewolf in Paris - Nowhere as good as the iconic first but I thought it was a good film.
7. Ginger Snaps - Amazing how many people haven't watched this awsome werewolf movie.
8. Cursed - I think my fondness for looking at Christina Ricci might have put this one on my list. She's hot and it didn't suck.
9. Underworld - Not entirely a werewolf movie but there are plenty of them in it. Lots of great action.
10. The Company of Wolves - Early 80's gem kinda based on little red riding hood.
Lets hope for some more great werewolf movies in the future.
