TIGGNUTZ'S TOP 10 FAVORITE HORROR FLICKS

1. Night of the Living Dead - In my opinion the scariest movie ever made. I didn't get a good night's sleep for about 3 years after watching it as a kid.

2. Dawn of the Dead - You can see that I'm a big Romero fan and Dawn is some of his best work.

3. The Thing - The effects from this movie still stand up today. One of Carpenter's best.

4. The Exorcist - This movie put a lot of people in therapy, truly horrific. The only movie I don't like watching alone.

5. The Shining - I think the best adaptation of a Stephen King novel, visually stunning and Nicholson is just amazing.

6. Alien - The template for Sci-Fi horror, very claustrophobic feel to it.

8. Halloween - The pinnacle of slasher movies, coolest theme music ever. A true masterpiece.

9. Friday the 13th - The original was very groundbreaking with reckless bloodshed. Love it.

10. Jaws - Some may say it's not true horror but I strongly disagree. It probably scared more people worldwide than any other movie in history. Can't help but think about it at the beach.


Every movie on this list is very normal for favorite lists but they all have a special part in making me the horror fiend I am today.
