Top 20 All Time Favorites

20) Land of the Dead - 2005
- Huge zombie fan, definitely my favorites, so of course huge Romero fan. I really like the details and gore in this one, just didn't like the intelligence level the zombies had. It will never happen.

19) Candyman - 1992
-Not so much of a fan of the Candyman movies now but he absolutely scared me to death when I was younger.

18) Darkness Falls - 2003
-I am only throwing this in here cause there is nothing better than believing in something so much as a kid and being excited when losing teeth and then to just totally flip the script on what you believe about the tooth fairy.

17) The Hills Have Eyes - 2006
-I saw this movie in theaters the first day it came out. I wouldn't say this movie scared me or anything but it definitely did make me jump quite a few times with all the pop out killings.

16) 30 Days of Night - 2007
-This one took me to a whole new level of vampirism. The vamps are nothing like in any other vampire movie. Really good special effects.

15) 28 Days Later - 2002
-I love this one cause it is non-stop madness throughout the whole movie. A lot of zombie lovers do not like the zombies in this one but you have to remember that the ones in this are infected with a rage, unlike others that are risen dead.

14) Dawn of the Dead - 2004
-Again, this one is very intense - lots of good headshots for the zombies and good effects all together. I just don't like the running zombie, will never happen.

13) Child's Play - 1988
-Classic Charles Lee Ray, this was another one that destroyed my childhood for any kind of dolls, my brothers "My Buddy" doll didn't like me very well haha.

12) Sometimes They Come Back - 1991
-Awesome movie, really into greasers and ratrods so this is one of the best to me, could have used a little more kill scenes but still very good.

11) Friday the 13th - 1980
-You just can't not like this series. Of course the original being Jason's Mother was good but Jason himself is the man. The only thing about these is I don't understand where the power of never dying comes from, just cause he drowned as a boy means he can never die??? Not sure on that one.

10) Halloween - 1978
-Michael Myers, the best big brother ever. Master of the kitchen knife. Michael in general never scared me in this one but his mask is what always got me. It is like looking at pure death in the face. Always a good one to watch with a sweetheart.

9) A Nightmare On Elm Street - 1984
-This movie is absolutely great. This movie was another one that put a big dent in the childhood. It was hard enough to be scared of bumps and noises I heard while trying to sleep, it was even more tough to know that he came WHEN you were asleep. I believe that Krueger is the scariest out of all in this one.

8) Hellraiser - 1987
-Great movie, pretty confusing the first couple of times I watched it but it's definitely good. Wish there would have been more of the cenobytes in this one but still a fun one to watch at anytime.

7) Christine - 1983
-Just like I said earlier, very big 50's fan so this beautiful 57 Fury is definitely in my top 10. Special effects were awesome in this for the time that it was made on how they would re-construct the car, Very good.

6) Return of the Living Dead - 1985
-Trash punks getting eaten by talking zombies. Definitely a good one for a laugh and for a zombie fan. Don't like how the zombies talk but again it's a good one to laugh with.

5)The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - 1974
-I can never stop watching this one. I really like all the new ones that are coming out but nothing will ever top the original. I like that Leatherface is a normal guy in the original and not a 7 ft. giant like in the new ones. Chainsaws and Sledgehammers are always a great combo.

4) Dawn of the Dead - 1978
-Romero's 2nd, I just love everything he does. Very good graphics of the kills and bites for it being 1978. Love the story line, characters, everything about it. Just wish Flyboy would have made it but it happens.

3) The Exorcist - 1973
-I watched this movie when I was 6 and didn't watch it again until I was 11. This movie is really the scariest movie I have ever seen. The feeling I get when I watch it is awesome. It takes a lil bit for the intense stuff to turn on but once it does, it never turns back off until the end.

2) Day of the Dead - 1985
I believe this is the overall best film by Romero. The Storyline is great with the military and the world being overrun. The graphics are freaking awesome, especially in towards the end once all the zombies are loose. Overall great film, I hope the remake coming out soon is just as good.

1) Night of the Living Dead - 1968
-This started it all for me. I remember laying on my dads belly and watching this. Once I really understood what it was, I would watch this movie at least 3 times a day, getting all my fake guns and acting like I'm in the movie trying to shoot the zombies. This film is a masterpiece. Zombies wouldn't be what they are today without this movie. Would love to Thank Romero for all the great zombie flicks over the years and hope that they keep on coming, I love em!!!
