30-somethings have, in my opinion, a particular taste in horror movies. Here is my list of the top Horror Movies to appeal to those in their 30s.

1. Halloween 1 and 2!

2. Friday the 13 parts 1,2,3,4

3. Funhouse

4. Terror Train

5. Fright Night

6. The Fog

7. Legacy

8. The Car

9. Christine

10. Nightmare on Elm Street

11. Prom Night

12. Carrie

13. The Howling

14. An American Werewolf in London

15. Aliens

16. Amityville Horror

17. The Exorcist

18. Texas Chainsaw Massacre

19. Silver Bullet

20. Invasion of The Body Snatchers

21. The Thing

22. The Shining

23. Cujo

24. The Omen 1,2,3

There are many more that I can't remember the titles of now. I am always keeping my eyes open at the video store for good horror!

This list is pitiful. Its nothing but the most typical and obvious stuff. And whats with the 30 something angle? Now should that really be something relevant? Sorry Larry, but expand your horizons some.

Hi,
I think there are some movies that should be included in this horror movies list for 30 somethings:
Near Dark (a sort of vampire road movie!!!)
Lost Boys (the brat pack meets Salem's Lot...wait a second, SALEM'S LOT!!! Include this one! And also Pet Sematary, the best Stephen King's movie adaptation ever...the others, even been as lame as they are, can be considered as fan's uppers)
Night of the Creeps (bad acting doesn't mean no fun!)
Child's Play (I mean the 1988 movie, it's not that I actually love it, but it's an icon)
The Blair Witch Project (I know, this can be also included in a 20 somethings list, but you can deny that you eagerly waited for the premiere after watching the trailers...)
