Two Films: Ghost Cop Stops To Help Stranded Kids; Mother and Daughter Stranded in Town Church

I am looking for the name of two movies I watched some time ago, but cant remember the titles of.

The first is about a college girl who asks for a ride home from kid who had posted a flyer. They drive for a while, and end up taking a shortcut down a long dirt road in the now. The car breaks down and crazy hauntings start to happen to them (something about a police car coming but the cop is a ghost). In the end, there's some sort of a fire.

The second is about a mother and daughter that end up somewhere where no one can find them - police, etc. The husband had told them to be careful before they left. It turns out they're in this town where people can't leave because something evil happened there. The mother and daughter end up in a church, and people think they are evil so they force them to go battle this thing.

If anyone can help on either one of these, that would be great.
