Two Guys Go House to House Terrorizing Families

Hello,
Recently, my boss described a movie where two boys or men knock at the door of a couple who have two children and ask for directions. When they are let inside the house they start to terrorize the family. The wife attempts to escape but is caught, bound up, and thrown in a lake to drown to death.
Eventually, these same two boys end up knocking on another potential victims' door which would indicate that they are set to kill another family.
Would you know the name of this film? Thank you in advance for any help that you might offer me.
