Two Horror Movies, Ninjas and Zombies

There are two movies that I remember specific scenes of but I can't remember the movie titles. They are both older, probably 90's or so.

The first is a zombie film with some high school students defending against zombies. There's a scene in a bathroom where a girl and a demon or a zombie are each in a stall. The girl goes into another stall and finds a dismembered head in a toilet. There is some vortex or something and someone says something about when hell freezes over. The last scene is at the pool of their high school and the pool is smoking. the main girls boyfriend became zombified and tears his own heart out to give to her.

The second is a movie in an Asian setting with a female ninja who fights this giant monster thing that has this circular thing on its head. Either the monster or the ninja lady freezes people or things in giant translucent blocks. I cant really remember anything other than that.

Those are my questions. Both of these have been bugging me so if anyone knows these movies I would appreciate it! Peace.
