Two Horror Movies on Sci Fi Channel: Jealous Female Robot / Ghost in Electrical System

I remember two movies I saw on the Sci Fi channel. Maybe you can help me remember the titles.

The first is about a man that lives alone and builds a female-voiced robot in his basement. It has arms in each of the rooms to help with chores and can turn on and off most everything in the house. The man meets a woman and has her and her child move in. The robot gets jealous and tries to kill the man and woman. I think the girl was safe because the robot liked her. In the end they finally shut down the robot as its grasping scissors and moving down the hall.

The second is about a family in a house being tormented by a spirit in the electrical system. The woman gets burned in the shower. The son gets trapped in the swimming pool by the electric pool cover. Throughout the movie, when something bad happens, you can hear the humming of the power lines and a transformer shows on the screen. It also shows one of those cat clocks with moving eyes and tail on the wall.
