Two Movies Making my Brain Burst Like in Scanners!

When I was a kid in Baltimore they use to have all night horror movies; Those were the good old days.

Me and my friends would be dropped off by our parents with blanket, pillow and giant brown paper bag so the popcorn dude or chick could fill it up. Of course they would show the good stuff like "I Spit on your Grave", "Tales from the Crypt" - Joan Collins was the sh*t when she split that dudes head open with a fire poker - that will teach him to give her a cheap azz x-mas gift (rofl).

Anyway, I fell asleep watching this movie about these things that flew around sucking on people (no, they were not bats) - they looked like rubbery pancakes with eyes and mouth with sharp teeth and they were after these people on this island. I know this movie came out in the late 70's or early 80' but what is the title?

Also, I saw this movie about a man and his wife living in an old house set in England back in the times of lords and peasants. The wife was being harassed by this gross looking guy with a big birthmark on his face and her husband got mad and cut off the dude's hand. The guy's hand would appear and disappear to kill people in the house and at the end of the movie the wife gave birth to a son who had that same birthmark as the guy and a cut off hand. What is the name of this movie?
