Upcoming Horror Film About Burglar Who Has To Save Family From Killer in House

Okay so a couple of days ago, I was listening to whatever was blasting through the TV speakers while I cooked, and I happened to hear a preview to a horror movie due out in 2009.

It's about this guy that breaks into this house in the middle of the night to burglarize it, but has no idea that someone else is already inside. Apparently this 'someone else' is this gruesome character whose intentions are to kill everyone in the house. So the guy that broke in now has to play the hero to the people who live there.

I didn't get a chance to even glance at the TV to see anything that would be helpful, such as a description of the characters or even an actor I could recognize.

So my problem is that I'm a 'blood and guts' type of girl with absolutely no idea of what this movie is called or when it comes out and I've searched the Web over and over again at no avail.

You guys are my last hope for an answer to what the name of this movie is and when I can expect to have my night filled with terror! Thanks.
