What is the late 80's or early 90's horror movie about a European village of demons?

Two friends are stuck in the small village. At nght it turns into a crazy mess and even the villagers board up their homes so they don't get invated by demons or vampires or some type of killers that sacrifice whoever is out at night.

Please help me locate this movie. I want to see it again. Thanks.
