Villagers March and Save Boy With Ears Ripped Off

As a child I watched a terrifying movie set in the Viking era about a small village surround by a wooden fortress where humans wear animal skins.
There's a march to the village that looks like a snake (as they are holding torches) and they save a child who has had his ears ripped off.
