This picture is from the first horror movie that left me shaking as I left the theater. I saw it multiple times after that, of course, and developed a 'mania' for horror pictures that survives to this day, more than 30 years later. I agree it is the one, the only, great John Carpenter classic, Halloween. No ifs ands or buts about it.

it is the original Halloween. This is the nurse accompanying the doctor to the mental hospital where Michael Myers is. She is in the station wagon that he hijacks.

Its from the first Halloween movie, towards the beginning when the nurse and doctor go to the sanitarium and see all the patients walking around the grounds at night. Michael Myers jumps on the station wagon and busts the side window with his hand, then steals the car. That's the same station wagon he drives throughout the movie.
