When in Rome...Pretend to be a Zombie.

Zombie Master,

Out of all the undead, the zombie mob is the most fearful to me. As demonstrated in Shaun of the Dead the crew decides to act as zombies to 'fit' in and get to the Winchester Pub and of course safety. This plan only works slightly well. Here is my question....If the crew had disguised their 'living flesh' smell w/ 'rotting zombie flesh' smell (they could have grabbed a random body part left about and rubbed that on themselves), do you think it would have worked?

I must say that this has to be my favorite question to date. It seems that very few take the zombie menace seriously when there is proof all around us that they exist. The dead have been voting here in Memphis for years. Your proactive nature is commendable.

I have to admit that upon first reading, my answer was a resounding "NO". But, upon further thought I believe it might buy you a little more time. Working on pure instinct, the zombie's sense of smell would be relatively easy to fool for a short period of time. I do not think it would be a permanent solution but all we want to do is get out of the middle of a zombie mob.

My suggestion would be, when faced with such a predicament, that you find someone that you don't mind giving a 50% success rate and try it with them first. If they make it through, your good. If not then you really aren't out anything.

Like I always say, "Keep your friends close, and your bait closer."
