Wife Mocks Husband After Cutting His Tongue Out

I'm trying to remember the name of a 70's movie - here's the ending:

A husband is seated and about to eat a meal his wife has prepared. She chillingly and mockingly asks if he would like his food cut into small pieces.

It turns out the reason for this is that he has recently had, against his will, his tongue removed to prevent him from speaking about some very bad discovery he has made.
