Wild Shaggy Dogs With Big Fangs

In the 50's or 60's I watched a movie where people were trapped in an old house or cabin surrounded by dogs that had very long shaggy coats and long teeth. They were trying to eat through the wood to get at the people inside.

Any ideas?

I know what you mean. It had the same effect on me. There's nothing like the old horror films, especially the black and white ones. Just remember to keep your feet off the floor. lol

You were right about Attack of the Killer Shrews - that was the movie I saw as a kid. At night if I had to get up I would jump from my bed to the hallway so the shrew under my bed would not get me. I found the movie on IMDb.com (internet movie data base) and watched the full movie for free. I hope I can sleep tonight and don't have to get up for anything! Once again thank you. Sounds like you watched The Attack of The Killer Shrews (1959). The dogs were actually supposed to be mutated rats. I loved this film. James Best starred in it.
