Young Horror Addict
by Lizzy
(California)
I started watching horror movies, maybe when I was four. I don't remember the movies I saw, but I remember I LOVED THEM!
So when I came to the age where I could use the internet without supervision I looked at netflix.com, blockbuster.com, and google.com for horror movies.
And then my mom rented the movie It on Nexflix because she is obsessed with the books and movies of Stephen King, and I watched from behind the couch, and WOW! I was scared so badly, I didn't use the bathroom without someone in the house for two years - and of course my favorite stuffed animal found it's way into the trash - it was a CLOWN!
From there I started grabbing tons of movies - Sleepwalkers, Storm of the Century, Rose Red, Sleepy Hollow, Pyscho, The Shining, Silence of the Lambs, The Mist, 1408, Red Eye, The Ring, The Ring Two, Salem's Lot, Secret Window, Pet Semetary, Children of the Corn, The Stand, The Birds, and so many more.
I had access to most of the Stephen King movies because my mom would rent them on Netflix and leave them all over the house. Also they gave me a DVD player very young. And still today I'm only 16 but my parents let me watch the "R" ones anyway I'M A HORROR ADDICT AND ALWAYS WILL BE!
