Zombie Film Cover Has Smashed Window With Hand Coming Through

What is the late 80's or early 90's zombie horror whose cover has a picture of a wooden house with the window smashed and a zombie hand coming through it?
It's about a group of five or six people that go through fog and end up in the sticks.
In one scene, they are shopping and the store owner is staring at them. The camera swivels around the owner and his back is all messed up.
In another scene, the group ends up in a barn with loads of zombies trying to get in.
