Zombie Style Confusion

Dear Zombie Master,

I just watched Return of the Living Dead 3 last night on zone horror and I would like to ask some questions.

Could a zombie, or the girl who was bought back to life by some zombie gas, die of hunger? Do they live forever like vampires?

This next question may sound very confusing but... in Return of the Living Dead 3 if the girl died and got bought back to life but still had a zombie personality could she be cured with the T-virus or anti-virus?

As I always like to hear from you chaps across the pond, I feel it is my duty to straighten up what seems to be some confusion with crossing zombie films and "not-a-zombie" zombie films. Let me explain.

1. "ROTLD 3" -- Zombies are already dead. They only feed because the cravings are based on instinct. Unlike vampires, they do not gain or lose any strength during the feeding cycle. They will not starve to death because they are already dead.

2. 28 Days Later -- These "not-a-zombie" zombies will, and do, starve to death because they have yet to die. They still require food to sustain them.

3. Resident Evil -- This is where the T-Virus comes from and has no bearing on the other "science-created" zombies. Any anti-virus would have to be based on the original virus causing the zombie.
