Zombie vs Mummy

Dear Zombie Master,

Can you tell me what you would consider the difference to be between a Zombie "walking Dead" and a Mummy "also the Walking Dead"? Does the age matter in the life of a Zombie or a Mummy?

I am a bit confused in the classification of Zombie vs Mummy.

I am intrigued by your level of curiosity. It gives me a tinge of hope that not all of the populace consists of mindless robots. Now, to the question at hand.

If you are talking about the "voodoo" induced zombie, then the only difference from a mummy is the age of the dead. They are both brought back to "life" by spells and incantations.

Mummys couldn't be any more different from the "modern" zombie though. The modern zombie operates on instinct alone and can be put down by a good shot to the head. The Mummy, however, is under the influence of whoever brought him/her back. Fire will make them light up quicker than dry kindling but save your bullets.
