Zombies and Other Creatures

The scariest part of fending off zombies is they never get tired, like the girl in the back of the bus in one of the first scenes of Dawn of the Dead (2004 remake).

I believe myself to truly be a horror freak. I have been watching horror movies - any I can get my hands on - for years. Since I was a child I watched them and my father introduced me to zombies which are my horror niche. I lost a lot of sleep over horror movies (staying up all night watching them). I've even delved into the horror genre for video games.

Trying to find a first person experience in all the horror, I actually came to this site to find a zombie horror I haven't seen before - any recommendations?

Dead and Breakfast (2004)

Dead Alive aka Braindead (1992) Peter Jackson directs this one. Yup Mr. LOTR himself :)

I agree zombie movies are the best...

...but only if realistic. By realistic, I mean an infection that affects brain functions turning living humans into insane cannibals or maintaining minimum functions in a person who dies of the infection. I do not like the zombie films where the dead can run e.g. Day of the Dead (2008) because they would not have the intelligence to balance themselves.

You ask for a film you have not seen. I hope you will like 28 Days Later (2002), it is very realistic and in England we do not have easy access to guns so it is much harder to survive.

If zombies are your niche, could you tell me which film has zombies approaching a terrified schoolteacher who is trying to get her class to safety?
